In this session, taken from 'The How of Riding', we look at rein aids, how to passive resist and why it's important not to pull back.
VIDEO 2 - ACCURACY
In this session, taken from 'Improve Your Dressage Scores, we look at accuracy. It's really important to develop accuracy in how you ride your school movements. The basic school movements, when done focusing on consistent tempo and straightness, can really help develop the horse's balance and attention.

GROUNDWORK
Ali looks at the progress Hannah has made with Rosie's groundwork and teaches them front leg abduction.
RIDDEN WORK
Hannah has made great improvements in her and Rosie's straightness since the last session. This combination have made amazing progress!
NANCY & RUPEE
GROUNDWORK
Nancy shows Ali how she and Rupee are doing with all the groundwork basics including hing leg yield and front leg abduction.
RIDDEN WORK
Ali makes sure Nancy's stirrups are long enough and her position is correct. Nancy has to focus on her arms and Ali gets her to ride in more of a 'contact'. Nancy transfers front leg abduction from the ground into ridden work. Ali also looks at Nancy's walk-halt and walk-trot transitions.
