Part 2 continues to show you the basic groundwork training methods. You can also watch the Case Studies and Typical Mistakes videos to help you progress quicker by watching others working through the system.
Once you have watched Part 2, you can practice the groundwork exercises from the videos with your horse and if you wish send us a video via the forum for review. There is a thread in the forum giving details of how to upload your video.
Please note that you do not need to submit videos to complete the course and receive a completion plaque.
This is the case study for those of you with lazy/strong horses. Rosie is very dull and switched off to the aids. She is insensitive to the go aid, strong to the stop aid and can be quite bargey. Hannah says that Rosie was a real nightmare when she first got her, towing her around the yard going wherever she wanted to go.
Please note that we recommend wearing a hat, gloves and boots when doing groundwork with your horse.
