Since the last session, Nancy has been working on her position and straightness. In walk, Ali gets Nancy to increase her bear down and be stiller whilst still making sure her right seat bone is close to Posh's spine. This gets Posh to take smaller quicker steps and reach into the rein.

In trot on the right rein, Nancy has to think about getting Posh to almost fall out to get him straight. Ali gets Nancy to pause at the top and bottom of her rise to slow Posh. Nancy works on walk-trot transitions, focusing on not letting Posh put his head up and to the left. Nancy has to think about 'suctioning' Posh up into the trot rather than letting him speed off. On the left rein, Nancy has to flex Posh to the outside to stop him falling out. Their circles on the left rein are bigger than on the right rein! Nancy has to think about rotating herself outwards on the left rein to make herself straight. She has to think about looking at Posh's right ear and aiming her left hip towards his right ear in rising trot.

In canter, Nancy has to think about keeping back and 'bouncing the ball' to keep Posh shorter. In the transition Nancy has to give him a sharp aid and jump him up into the canter.
